Glogster Poster: My Self-Advocacy Plan

Task: Your mission is to create a virtual poster to display your individual learning styles and goals for the school year.

  Click here to see an example of the finished project.

Procedure:
  1. Each student will create an account on Glogster.com. We will do this together as a class.
  2. Next, get those creative juices flowing! The idea of this assignment is to use the neat, colorful, expressive frames, graphics and backgrounds on Glogster in order to communicate your strengths as a students.
  3. In order to complete the assignment, be sure that all the questions below are addressed on your poster and be sure that your name, period, and a title is included.
  4. When finished, please email a link to your Glogster Poster to Mrs. Williams at abbywilliams@gaggle.net.
    1. While in Edit Mode, click the pink button "Save and Publish." It is located at the top of the screen.
    2. Fill in the information inside the window that pops up on your screen: name your glog, choose a category, and choose to make your glog private or public. Then, click "Save and Publish" in the lower right hand corner of the window.
    3. Next, you will see a window titlted "Your Glog Has Been Published." Now, you will email a link to Mrs. Williams. To do this, move your cursor over the box labeled "Link Your Glog." Click to copy the link. Then, you may go back to the Dashboard on Glogster.
    4. Now, open your Gaggle Account. Open a new email and paste the link into the document. Next, send it to Mrs. Williams @ abbywilliams@gaggle.net.

Directions for Poster:
First, make sure your poster has a title, your name, and your period number.

When creating your poster, finish the following sentences...
